New York chef and restaurateur Akhtar Nawab shared his favorite spots in his neighborhood in this week’s Time Out New York. He tells Daniel Gritzer that he frequents Levain Bakery with his daughter Ela: “She loves the cookies, but I usually get her brioche with cinnamon sugar or a blueberry muffin.” And he describes the Whole-Wheat Walnut Raisin roll as “really dense and tender.”
